What’s been happening:

Annie Laurie Harris is anything but your typical Penn State alum. In addition to her job with Penn State Athletics, she has traveled to several parts of the third world, helping those in need by sharing her personality, intelligence and wisdom she has gained throughout her life. Her travels have allowed her to shed light upon those who live in the most politically tumultuous areas of the world. Her travels have also led her to vacation in Hawaii and Italy, where she got to experience God's beauty in its rarest form. She is currently in the final stages of writing her memoirs, It's Easier To Dance, where she describes living with cerebral palsy and her struggle to maintain her independence . She wants people who read her book to be encouraged by her example of persistence. When you visit Happy Valley, you will recognize her moving around downtown in her bright red Legend scooter and a neon orange flag blowing in the wind. She has many stories to share and a smile that lights up for miles, so stop and say "hi" when you see her!
